Project: Green Earth Hong Kong

It's a fine day to partake in a great initiative for Green Earth Hong!

We selected the Lantau Peak trail for this mission, the second highest peak in Hong Kong.

This is a volunteer research project to collect litter waste from countryside hiking trails.  

At the same time a large-scale survey to gather accumulated data on countryside rubbish.  

Data collected also goes to the government to enhance solutions on environmental protection

We encountered not too many littered plastic bottles on this route, though we did end up collecting quite a bit of plastic candy wrappers & plastic tissue packets amongst the most littered items.
